**About the Business**: 

A property maintenance business, closely aligned with a substantial commercial property management company. We service facilities management accounts, including commercial office and industrial buildings, and retail shopping centres throughout metropolitan Melbourne. With an existing pipeline of work and significant growth opportunities, we are looking for a dedicated Handyman to join our team.

**About the Role**: As a Handyman, you will be responsible for:

- Performing urgent, routine, and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, and inspections on client properties.
- Scheduling routine works.
- Common tasks include pressure washing, minor patch & painting work, and general handyman tasks.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications (SWMS required).
- Collaborate and supervise (if required) with other construction professionals and trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
- Undertake and record PRA, Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of tasks.
- Manage Key Performance Indicators effectively, including response times, safety, compliance, and financial performance of all assigned job numbers.

**Successful Applicants Will Have**:

- A tidy and well-presented appearance.
- General hand tools required to execute the role.
- Ability to work after hours or on weekends (not rostered, but some tasks are out of hours).
- High level of organisational and communication skills.
- Computer/mobile device capabilities.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Strong knowledge of OH&S Act and operations.
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) (desirable).
- EWP licence/certificate (desirable).
- Current Police check (National Police certificate).

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
