Initially, a 6-month non-ongoing contract in the central procurement team for Federal Government Department.

**Your new company**

Join a Federal Government department located in north Canberra. Your new team will work together to assist all branches of the department in relations to all aspects of procurement and contracting.

**Your new role**

You will have a keen interest in providing expert procurement advice to a wide range of stakeholders. Employing your relational skills and attention to detail, you will be working in partnership with other branches to manage compliance and consistency of processes to support the branch’s objectives.

Your communication, critical thinking and understanding of CPR’s will enable you to contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's procurement and contracting processes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience and capability in federal government procurement
- Strong focus on client engagement
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
- Working to a high standard in a team environment
- Baseline clearance

**What you'll get in return**

This is a non-ongoing contract role for a period of 6 months. As an employee of the department, you will be entitled to flexible working arrangements, generous leave entitlements and a 15.4% superannuation contribution.
