About us Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) is the state's consumer regulator who ensure a fair and competitive marketplace in Victoria.

The Information & Dispute Services Centre (IDSC) provides information and advice across a range of mediums to support voluntary compliance and inform businesses, landlords, consumers and tenants about their rights and responsibilities. In certain circumstances Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) will provide dispute services. These services are compliance oriented and are focussed on obtaining an outcome consistent with the law.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager - IDSC, the Manager - Escalations Team is responsible for leading and managing a team of Senior Enquiry Officers and Escalations Officers. The role contributes to the IDSC's operational effectiveness and efficiency by providing front line information and advice across the IDSC and dispute services.

The Manager - Escalations Team is a member of the IDSC's Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with other managers to build an engaged and high performing team and deliver to CAV's strategic goals.

High level knowledge of legislation administered by CAV and understanding of CAV's Regulatory Approach and Compliance Policy

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in investigations and regulatory frameworks
