Reporting to the Group Manager, Employment Practices & Reward, your new role as Performance & Reward Specialist will see you take the lead on operational reward services and cyclical programs across the Group, while contributing to a range of projects across the reward and employment practices remit.
More specifically, you will:
- Contribute to the design of Performance & Reward frameworks that support the achievement of group strategy, talent, and performance objectives- Provide specialist advice and support to People & Culture Business Partners and Leaders on performance and reward policies, programs, and practices- Conduct job evaluations / salary benchmarking recommendations- Support the delivery of cyclical reward programs and initiatives in line with the annual performance and reward calendar- Contribute to nib’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and employee benefits program- Assist with project activities relating to regulatory compliance and other strategic initiatives, including research, documentation, presentations and facilitation of workshops and other project activities as required

- This is not your typical remuneration role_
You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting projects that support the achievement of our strategic people objectives and ensure nib’s compliance with the remuneration and broader employment regulatory environment.
With demonstrated experience in a Reward Analyst or Specialist role (or similar), you will have experience in partnering with business leaders on reward matters and you are comfortable in all aspects of Performance & Reward operations, including job evaluation, remuneration benchmarking and salary/bonus reviews.
Experience working in a generalist HR role will also be very advantageous.
Additionally, you will have:
- Knowledge of employment frameworks and regulatory frameworks impacting on reward and pay structures- Experience in writing and developing business documents and policies- Knowledge of relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, NES & Modern Awards- Sound planning and time management skills to enable competing priorities to be completed simultaneously- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
