Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for making a difference in people's lives? Do you speak both Vietnamese and English fluently? We are looking for incredible Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide essential support to individuals in the Adelaide community
At The Orange Umbrella, we believe in empowering individuals to live their best lives. We're seeking someone who can not only provide practical support but also connect culturally and linguistically with our Vietnamese-speaking clients and their families.
**What you'll bring**:
- **Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken)** - This is essential for effective communication and building strong relationships.
- Experience with personal care, social community access and neurological impairments is highly valued.
- Multiple shifts will be available.
- A genuine desire to support people with disabilities in achieving their goals.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- A valid Australian Driver's License and your reliable vehicle (essential for community work).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Relevant qualifications in Disability Support (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Individual Support) are highly regarded but not essential if you have relevant experience and a willingness to learn.
