**Position Summary**:
Based at our Campbellfield factory (home of Kit Kat) we have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety (SHE) Coordinator to join our team.
**Position Snapshot**:
Reporting to the SHE Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team who are passionate about ensuring a strong safety culture at our site. As a dynamic and dedicated Health and Safety professional, you will drive safety & health activities and coach line managers and employees in SHE requirements.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Maintain elements of the SHE management system
- Safety Improvement through partnering with engineering and operations teams in project development, assessment, and execution
- Training & Coaching our operations people in aspects of Safety
- Ensure the ongoing performance monitoring for SHE processes to support the timely and accurate completion of risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis and close out of corrective actions
- Ensure SHE compliance to Nestle Global Standards, 45001 & 14001 and legal requirements
- Lead and support the development and implementation of SHE systems, projects and initiatives in the team.
This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required to respond to our 24/7 operations. You will be joining a high performing team with an excellent track record for safety performance.
**What will make you successful**:
- Experienced health and safety professional with experience in a manufacturing or site-based environment.
- Your passion for safety means you will always strive to strengthen the site safety culture, coaching and developing others to foster preventative and proactive safety performance.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to engage with staff at all levels, easily building relationships and developing rapport.
**Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Maintenance of SHE management systems.
- Tertiary or diploma level qualifications in OHS
- Knowledge of ICAM - or similar root cause analysis tool
- Sound risk management knowledge and sound project management skills
- Internal Auditing qualifications
- Experience in Health & Safety within a manufacturing / site-based environment
- Good computer skills
