We are seeking an experienced Technical Officer to join one of our government clients located in the Adelaide CBD for an immediate start. You will be an integral part of the team performing Chemistry analysis within the Chemistry Services area and focusing on customer requirements, quality standards and business growth.

**The Role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Chemistry analysis, focusing on metals analysis
- Ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving
- Conduct risk assessments, stock holdings and workplace inspections as required
- Fulfil all Work Health and Safety obligations to ensure a safe and productive working environment
- Participate in internal audits

**Experience Required**
- Degree level qualifications in Chemistry, or related area, or equivalent
- Solid experience in a similar lab-based chemistry/laboratory position
- Strong understanding of laboratory information management systems, NATA and ISO quality management requirements, processes and procedures
- Flexible hours and some after hours as required, some intra and interstate travel
- To ensure your safety in performing the inherent requirements of this role, you will need medical clearances and immunisations: Covid-19, Hepatitis A/B, Q Fever and Flu
