**About The Role**
At Sportsbet, the Planning team plays a key business partnering role supporting decision making at a senior level, highlighting key financial issues and risks to be considered.

Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, the Head of Planning role will lead and support the planning team to enable the achievement of business objectives and evolve the function’s systems and process.

This pivotal role will also provide strategic insights and ensure business stakeholders meet financial plans, as well as monitoring and reporting the ongoing impact of performance changes on forecasts.

**Responsibilities include**:

- **Budgeting and Forecast Projections**:End-to-end delivery of all financial forecasting processes, including effective planning and analysis.
- **Management and Business Partnering**: Lead and support the Planning team, as well as develop and maintain strong business partnering relationships with senior management and the board.
- **Business Performance Reporting**: Facilitate the corporate planning process for finance and work closely with the strategy team to deliver the corporate plan.
- **Strategic Planning / Financial Modelling**: Develop complex financial models to assist Departments and senior management in decision-making.
- **Business Intelligence and Analytics**: Steer the forecasting data strategy to ensure relevant management reporting data is appropriately captured, governed and accessible to key stakeholders.

Instrumental to this role is your ability to engage and work at Executive level, with preferable experience at Board level in terms of report writing and presentations. Your experience managing and supporting professional finance teams and building detailed models and forecasts in a complex environment is also required.

Extensive experience within Consulting, ASX Top 100 business or from within the industry in a similar role is required. CPA or CA Professional qualification is also mandatory.
