Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. An exciting opportunity has opened up to join Nepean Hospital as a SAU Security Officer. This position ensures a safe environment for staff, volunteers, contractors, patients and visitors.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Must have Certificate 2 in Security Operations with a current NSW Security Licence class 1A, and current First Aid Certificate
- Effective experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in responding to a variety of changing and challenging situations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of managers, staff and a diverse range of patients and members of the public
- Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a multidiscplinary team
- Practical knowledge of security equipment including CCTV operations and access control systems
- Capability and availability to participate in a 24 hour/seven-day rotating roster
