**Financial / Paraplanning Role**

Great opportunity to join the head office of a reputable Financial Planning Group with multiple locations. The team at Ellerfield deliver financial confidence and comfort to retail clients helping them achieve their financial goals and quality lifestyle. With continuous growth, we are seeking to appoint a new financial planning assistant to our team.

Your position will work closely with Financial Planners - assisting with the preparation for client meetings, researching appropriate investments within our existing offering, contributing to the development of robust client strategies, advice implementation and other paraplanning tasks.

A day in the life of your role:

- Preparation of documentation and client packs for client meetings
- Maintain accurate client files
- Detailed financial product and insurance advice research
- Administrative support and reporting
- Timely management of client appointments and client queries
- Contributing to team projects and discussions
- Researching existing financial and insurance products for recommendation
- Preparation of Statements & Records of Advice (SoA/RoA) using our dedicated planning software.

**Required Skills**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Advanced computer and technology literacy;
- Enthusiastic and positive personality
- Eagerness to deliver a high-quality service to clients and external stakeholders through reliable, timely responses

**Advantageous Skills**
- Previous Paraplanning or Financial Assistant experience or education
- Experience using relevant financial planning software (AdviserLogic) and the ability to quickly learn new software
- Advanced technical knowledge of financial advice strategies and the desire for continued education
- Understanding of the compliance and regulatory framework of the industry

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
