Canberra, Australia Your Well Being Care Services Full time

Seeking a female support worker to support clients with a disability in the Canberra region and surrounds.

Duties included but not limited to:

- Personal care
- Shopping
- Transportation (wheelchair etc)
- Support in the community
- Domestic assistance

Day Shifts ONLY:

- Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm
- no weekends or overnights
- Relief work

Documents required
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in disability
- Must have at least 1 year experience in Mental health and disability
- Fluent English both verbal and written
- Working With Vulnerable people check (WWVP Card)
- Police check
- Current First Aid certificate or willing to update.
- Current Driver’s license
- Must have a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance. _You will be paid mileage for transporting on shift._
- Be fully vaccinated

What we need from you:

- Be able to travel between shifts when required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be mature, reliable and have excellent work ethic, with strong values around duty of care.
- Experience with wheel chair transfers
- A desire to provide personal centered care and the ability to connect with clients so that you are welcomed into their homes.
- You must be eligible to work in Australia

Pay: From $42.20 per hour
