- Incremental progression based on 12 months continuous service.
- Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
- Base salary range: $112,114 - $122,544 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
**About the area**
Development and Alumni Relations [DAR] oversees the University’s alumni, philanthropic, and community strategies. The function works collaboratively across the University to embed philanthropic and engagement activity into the University’s operations. The core responsibility of the team is to lead and build on the University’s alumni, donor, and community relationships to advance the University’s goals.
**About the opportunity**
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to cultivate lifelong relationships with our global alumni community.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the university’s prominent alumni engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with UWA’s strategic goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with high-impact alumni to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes, including advocacy, mentoring, volunteering, and financial partnership or investment.
**About you**
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Extensive knowledge and relevant experience implementing and managing alumni engagement programs at an appropriate level.
- Proven project management skills with analytical and creative contributions to projects.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with sound judgment and strategic decision-making capabilities.
