- Base salary range: $95,231 - $100,643 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

The Asia Centre at UWA exists to strengthen Western Australia’s connections with Asia by fostering people-to-people relationships, cultural exchange, and a shared sense of belonging. More than a hub for trade and economic engagement, the Centre is a place where students, alumni, visitors, and Asian diaspora communities feel welcomed and valued.

About the opportunity
- You will provide high-level support to the Asia Centre through the planning, coordination, and delivery of events, the development of compelling communications, and administrative support to the Centre’s leadership and governance.
- You will work closely with the Centre’s Co-Directors, Advisory Board and key stakeholders to deliver professional, timely, and effective activities to engage the Asian diaspora in Western Australia and enhance the Asia Centre’s reputation and impact.

About you
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting professional communications and marketing materials.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in providing administrative support to senior leaders, including meeting management and servicing of committees or boards.
- Experience working across cultures with international stakeholders highly regarded.
