We are seeking a Portfolio Risk Specialist for the largest energy distributor, retailer and energy services provider in the state of Queensland.

About the job:

- Based in Brisbane - Newstead
- 06 months contract
- WFH 2x days per week
- Open to Market Rates

Key responsibilities:

- Coordinate and facilitate project risk workshops, and ensure resultant risks are appropriately triaged and documented.
- Track and monitor effectiveness of risk controls, and response actions and ensure the quality of the project risk data in the registers.
- Employ analytical methods to develop meaningful reports and confidently present findings to key stakeholders that will enable them to make informed decisions.
- Promote risk management culture within each of the project teams and portfolio operations team.
- Onboard and coach new project / delivery / platform managers within the company.

Key requirements:

- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Risk Management Standard ISO 31000
- Demonstrated agile mindset and agile delivery experience.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating ideas via reports and presentations and making recommendations for improvements based on findings.
- Demonstrated ability to identify training needs for risk management and oversee the risk competence and awareness across the project teams.
- Background in portfolio risk management would be an advantage.
