About the Role & Team
The role is based in the center of Perth and manages the Custodial and Security operations for the District Court Building for Western Australia.
The General Manager of the District Court building reports into the Director of Justice Services for G4S ANZ, (Board). Responsible for three direct reports including an Operations Manager (with two Team Leaders), Training Compliance Coordinator & Administration support. In total, the role leads 125 highly engaged staff members who achieve fantastic results for G4S & our clients, Western Liberty Group & Department of Justice.
The position is accountable for maintaining safety systems, a workplace safety culture, business and operational management of the contract including the safety and security of all Court Users and the care of Persons in Custody.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the relationship with our client Western Liberty Group.
- Promote and develop an organizational culture that proactively supports compliance activity, OHS, continuous improvement and promotes the meeting of customer requirements.
- Management of contract operations within the framework of the endorsed procedures, regulations, standards of the company, Court Security and Custodial Services Agreement, Annexure's and the Court.
- Manage the contract to achieve budget and business goals in accordance with G4S' strategic objectives.
- Assess risk from intelligence provided and create plans to mitigate risk and be a member of the senior management team for G4S at the Facilities Building.
- Liaise with the Quality, Compliance and Training Coordinator and Operation Coordinator to coordinate training and to ensure G4S remains compliant with contractual requirements.

Essential Requirements
- Experience managing complex contracts including overall budgetary / P&L responsibility.
- Proven experience understanding and managing risk in a justice context - (Corrections / Custodial / Immigration).
