Little St Margaret's, Malvern, was established in 1929 and is a community based kindergarten which offers a specialised early learning curriculum in a family friendly environment with small class sizes. The Little St Margaret's community is one that values the close relationship between educators, our parent-run Council and families. We pride ourselves in providing uniquely small and intimate class sizes and a friendly and encouraging team of educators. Little St Margaret's is rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards. **Hours of Work of the Role**

24hrs per week

**Description**
- support high quality programs reflecting a sound understanding of early childhood development
- have a sound knowledge of educational frameworks
- support and contribute to open ended, play based experiences based on the children's interests to encourage individual development
- support an inclusive environment in which all children are encouraged to participate and achieve their full potential
- maintain regular and positive contact with parents, to foster strong relationships with families
- work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, families, staff and the Little St. Margaret's Committee of Management.
- work collaboratively with team members
- ensure compliance with Little St. Margaret's Kindergarten service policies and national and all state based legislation
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- have demonstrated ability to problem solve
- have an understanding of technology and word processing

Employment conditions are in accordance to VECTEA 2020. Days and Hours: Mon: 11am - 3.30pm, Tue: 8am-3.45pm, Thur: 8am-3.45pm and Fri 11am-3.30pm Total hours: 24 hours per week (contact: 17.75 hours, 6.25hrs non-contact)
