**About the Role**

Reporting directly to and working alongside the Village General Manager, you will play a key part in providing services and improving the Village care delivery and team output, utilising your exceptional customer service and leadership skills to oversee our resident’s care experience.

In this hands-on position, you will play a key role to ensure the care operational, financial standards and success of our service delivery is maintained, as well as the comfort and happiness of our residents. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the care team, creating a positive, safe and people focused culture and creating lifestyle solutions for our residents and their families.

As the Care Operations Manager - The Landings, you will develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and play an active role in the village and wider local community. Further responsibilities in the role will include:

- Implementing improvement projects;
- Providing visible leadership;
- Shaping culture and driving performance;
- Managing day-to-day operations across the care portfolio;
- Overseeing the financials and budget;
- Training and development of team members at all levels;
- Liaison with residents and their representatives ensure high quality outcomes; and
- Strategically driving resident satisfaction through programs developed around engagement and service offering.

**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Commerce, or significant experience deemed the equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior hospitality, or similar, leadership position.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Genuine appetite to learn new skills and adapt foundational knowledge to improve the existing operations and lead change, where needed.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills developed from experience in leading high performing and successful teams in a face-paced operational environment.
- Ability to make commercially sound but robust decisions under pressure and clearly communication the logic behind the decision.
- Alignment to a values-based organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a team to ensure they have the soft and technical skills to effectively run the operation, comes natural to you.
- You lead by extraordinary example in driving a culture that puts the consumer at the heart of what we do.
- You have a high level of emotional intelligence.
- You have the ability to identifying service and skills gaps and developing innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and promote an inclusive environment.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Police Clearance and have an influenza and COVID-19 immunisation up-to-date prior to commencing._
