**HammondCare North Turramurra is currently looking for several Permanent, Part-Time + a Casual Night Specialised Carers to join our team.**

HammondCare prides itself on providing, evidence-based and personalised care to our elderly residents. We have modelled our lodges to feel like ‘home’ for the residents in our care. While no day is the same, you will be giving care in the following ways:

- Personal care - showering, grooming, toileting, dressing, pad changes
- Domestic assistance - meals, basic cleaning and laundry
- Engagement with the residents and family members, ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do.
- Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies.

- All new staff will complete a mandatory onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses, Allied Health team and Managers on site.

**What’s on offer: We need staff who can reliably take on the following roster**:

- **Tuesday to Saturday afternoon shits**
- **Monday to Friday Mornings**
- **Wednesday to Saturday Mornings**

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in Aged Care/Dementia Care
- Have knowledge of complex dementia care including challenging behaviours
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends.
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
- Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably.
