Superfins Swimming Club is a long-established and well respected swimming club for children and adults living with a disability. Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach to oversee the squads program. Employment will be on a casual basis at the rate of $50 per hour.

**About Superfins**:
Superfins operates out of HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont and has a total squad membership of approximately 85 swimmers with disabilities. Many compete in Masters Swimming WA sanctioned competitions as well as in open water events, including the Swim Thru Rottnest, Port-to-Pub and the Busselton Jetty Swim.

Superfins squads train Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings under the direction of a dedicated and cohesive team of coaches.

**The Role**:
Superfins is seeking a qualified swimming coach to manage the operation of its squad program. Duties of the Head Coach include:

- Programming of training sessions for the senior squad
- Coaching at least three sessions per week
- Rostering of coaches
- Mentoring of junior coaches
- Attendance at swim meets, including open water events

This is a personally rewarding role and the position reports directly to the club’s management committee. Remuneration is based on the direct coaching hours as well as several hours of administration each week.

**Qualifications**:
Experience in working with people with disabilities is desirable but not essential. The following qualifications and certifications are required:

- Recognised swim coaching qualification
- Working with Children Check
