Mount Gravatt East, Australia Element Swimming Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Aid in the development of junior swimmers both in and out of the pool, focusing on skills, technique, training and race education.
- Conduct basic strength and conditioning sessions, team-building activities, and develop general people skills.
- There is an opportunity to work with state and national swimmers, adult squad swimmers, and lead one-on-one adult learn-to-swim sessions.
- Attend specific swim meets allocated by the Head Coach or Coaching Director.
- Participate in in-house training days and the annual Element Cup. (All our pools compete against each other)
- Progress your coaching skills and knowledge through mentoring from our Head Coaches and Coaching Director.
- Engage in coaches meetings, coaches days, swim meets, and internal events, providing opportunities to network and collaborate with all coaches within the Element program.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Teacher of strokes and water safety (Learn to Swim Qual), as a minimum.
- At least 1 year of higher level LTS teaching experience.
- Ability to inspire and motivate swimmers of all levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of strength and conditioning principles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends for swim meets and events.
- An coaching background would be great but not essential as long as there is a willingness to learn.

We are offering a competitive hourly rate for levels of experience.
