**About the role**

Reporting to the Manager - Health & Safety, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation and continual improvement of ATCO’s health and safety and environment management system and documentation.
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of ATCO Australia’s health safety and environmental management system framework.
- Streamline health, safety, and environmental documentation to ensure it is fit for purpose and relevant to end users.
- Lead and undertake consultation activities with relevant stakeholders throughout the development of documents and processes.
- Provide specialised knowledge to support the continual improvement of WHSE management systems and processes using a risk-based methodology.
- Identify opportunities for the improvement and simplification of the health, safety, and environmental management system documentation.
- Ensure the development of a robust identification & assurance framework for the management of critical risks and critical controls across ATCO Australia.
- Work with the risk and compliance team to facilitate internal and independent health, safety, and environment management system audits.
- Collaborative approach as a member of the health, safety, and environment team, to ensure the widespread ownership and adoption of the health, safety, and environmental management system.

**What we are looking for**
- A tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, risk management or other relevant field of study.
- Proven experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of health safety and environmental management systems and documents.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including experience writing documents for all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake effective workplace consultation and integrate feedback from stakeholders.
- Sophisticated digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to utilise a range of information systems.
