**Ongoing part-time (16 hours per fortnight)**

The Midwifery Educator is responsible for the delivery of education and clinical supervision to both maternity staff and students. Education will include training staff in key programs such as Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT), neonatal resuscitation, and fetal surveillance education program (FSEP).

The midwifery educator will provide additional education and support for acute and urgent care staff around PROMT simulations and neonatal resuscitation.

**About you**
- Current Midwifery Registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Education (TAE) or working towards attainment
- Experience in midwifery education
- Ability to deliver and evaluate an education program
- Strong understanding of Safer Care Victoria requirements for midwifery
- Familiar with VMIA's incentivising better patient safely requirements and how these can be achieved
- Proven track record of a collaborative/ consultative approach
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy including ability to review data and utilise online platforms
