Director Clinical & Care Governance. Senior leadership role drives safety, quality and risk management across LCLHN services.

Lead the Quality, Risk & Safety team, embed robust clinical governance frameworks, ensure strategies support safe, high-quality patient‑centred care. Reporting to the Executive Director of Nursing & Midwifery, influence operational and strategic decision‑making, foster culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert advice on safety, quality and risk to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
- Oversee implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework and ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Analyse, monitor and report on clinical information and quality systems to support informed decision‑making at operational and Executive levels.

What We Are Looking For

- Registered Nurse/Midwife or Allied Health professional eligible for professional registration/membership.
- Proven expertise in clinical governance, risk management and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Skilled at leading teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, embedding innovative service strategies.
- Strategic insight and ability to provide high‑level advice to Executive leadership on safety, quality and governance.
