**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Security Officer t**o be part of our **Police Academy, People and Capability**. To perform safety and security services for the New South Wales Police Force in an ethical, efficient and cost effective manner for all Academy sites, facilities and persons therein
- Staffing the front gate,
- Locking and unlocking facilities
- Providing after hours assistance to students and visiting staff,
- General on-site security monitoring and patrols.

The Academy is a secure location with onsite facilities including café and gym available to employees. Applicants will need to demonstrate they meet the mandatory requirements that include:

- Australian resident,
- Hold an Australian driver’s licence with no traffic infringements in the last 6 months
- Possess a current NSW Security licence
