**The primary responsibilities of the position are**:

- To co-ordinate, administer and supervise payroll and personnel administration services provided by Payroll Services.
- To contribute to the ongoing enhancement of payroll and personnel administration services in the Parliamentary Service as part of the Payroll Services leadership team.

**You would also be requried to**:

- Coordinate the payroll function and personnel administration for all Parliamentary Service employees including casuals and relief staff.
- Coordinate casual timesheet processing and associated invoicing.
- Implement the requirements of Shared Services Client agencies such as the Office of the Governor and the Queensland Audit Office.
- Certify and verify the payroll reconciliation and budget allocation for each area within the Parliamentary Service and ensure data input compliance.
- Prepare documentation and payments for salaries and allowances for Members in accordance with legislation and the Members' Remuneration Handbook.
- Provide advice to members, management and staff on remuneration entitlements, policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports and correspondence on payroll activities.
- Streamline payroll systems and processes and maintain process documentation.
- Assist with various projects undertaken by Payroll Services such as implementing Aurion modules and digitisation of payroll activities as part of the Payroll Services leadership team.
