Troocoo are seeking an HRIS professional with knowledge of Aurion and a solid understanding of payroll in the public sector? We're looking for a
Principal Project Officer – HRIS Implementation
to drive the delivery of Payroll as a Service across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:
As a key member of the Human Resources team, you'll be the bridge between HR, our internal project teams, and Aurion. You'll play a hands-on role in:

  • Representing HR in project meetings and decision-making processes
  • Coordinating system configuration, workflow design, and business process mapping
  • Supporting data auditing and migration
  • Leading user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Identifying operational impacts, risks, and benefits
  • Rewriting procedures, adapting templates, and creating staff communications to support rollout
  • Ensuring compliance with industrial instruments and legislative requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in payroll operations – ideally in government or statutory authorities
  • Strong understanding of Aurion HRIS system (configuration and administration)
  • Proven experience with enterprise agreements, state wage case increases, and payroll compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical change into practical outcomes
  • A collaborative approach and a proactive mindset
