Menai Marketplace is a community retail destination anchored by Big W, Woolworths, quality fresh food producers, and a range of national specialty stores. It is a well-established sub-regional shopping centre located 40km south-west of the Sydney CBD in the Sutherland Shire.

We are seeking an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team based within the Centre Management team at Menai Marketplace shopping centre. This role is a part-time (3 days per week) permanent position.

This role is an excellent opportunity to maximise brand awareness for a major retail centre, as you use customer-driven insights to develop and execute the asset marketing strategy including strategic promotions from inception to completion and post-campaign analysis. Working alongside key stakeholders, a primary focus of the role will be community engagement, positioning and promoting the centre as a central hub to the surrounding community.

You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and analysis of key performance indicators, including sales, traffic, budgets and market share, as well as managing valuable relationships with a range of key stakeholders, including customers, retailers, local community groups, senior management, external partners and suppliers.

You will bring tertiary qualifications in Marketing or equivalent and experience in a Marketing Manager role. A solid understanding of key principles relating to shopping centre marketing and retail operations will also be key, as will a proven track record of managing multiple projects/tasks and strong stakeholder management skills. Equally important will be a passion for implementing carefully planned strategies and measuring the results. Retail industry experience will be highly regarded.
