Join our team as a **Disability Support Worker.** WE NEED YOU

KC Support Services are looking for **Male (6) and Female (6) support workers **each located in **Brisbane North (2 male & 2 female), Brisbane South (2 male & 2 female), and Ipswich (2 male & 2 female).**

**Job responsibilities**: You will be responsible for providing quality support to participants who are living in purpose built homes and their own family homes.

**Schedule**: We offer flexible scheduling to fit your work-life balance.

**About You**:

- You have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with complex needs and or behaviors of concern.
- You have a thorough understanding of working with people with disabilities -physical and behavioral, an ability to maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Qualification in a relevant field

Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families

Attention to detail and accuracy in record management

Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willing to obtain

First Aid, CPR, WWCC and NDIS Worker Orientation module

Current Driver’s License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (mandatory)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
