We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our Murdoch Cardiology Clinic testing team asa Medical Receptionist, on a permanent full-time basis. As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality reception and administrative services that meet the highest professional and company standards. Your dedication will ensure that our patients, referrers, and customers receive the professional, caring, and friendly service they deserve.
You'll serve as a vital link between our patients and our medical staff, providing exceptional care and support throughout their visit. Your responsibilities will include reception duties, administrative tasks, and ensuring each patient feels valued and well-cared for.
**What you’ll do**:

- Check patient GP referrals with Medicare, ensuring data accuracy
- Timely processing of correspondence to referrers and patients
- Respond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide a professional service in line with expectations
- Work with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of medical appointments and other related clinical information via the Health Track system
- Booking and confirming patients for tests and consultations.

**Who you are**:

- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to efficiently work as a proactive member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient enquiries
- High attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
