Technology Risk Lead will also support the technology team in ensuring that IT systems, processes and practices comply with relevant policies, standards, frameworks, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. They will lead and coordinate regular assessments to identify and uplift compliance practices as well as coordinate internal/external audit requirements.

**About You**

With a passion for Technology, you will be an experienced risk and governance professional who has seen what can go wrong and you will be able to engage with stakeholders in a supportive yet independent way.

Key to success in this role is demonstrated experience in an audit, compliance, or risk team or similar first line role, experience dealing with regulator requests within the financial services industry and experience in the development and maintenance of effective risk management practices.

Essential knowledge includes understanding of technology operational processes, the regulatory environment, operational risk management including process mapping, controls and risks associated with data governance, security, and technology.
