**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We know that to reach our potential, we need to transform our business processes and systems and ensure we capitalise on every strategic opportunity that arises. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager - Innovation & Transformation, this unique opportunity will play a pivotal role in the diversification and growth of our business in leading the global energy revolution.
The Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead will be an integral part of the transformation team and work closely with a key number of stakeholders including the Senior Leadership Team, Senior Project Managers, business stakeholders and employees.
The role is best suited to someone who is excited about future ways of working and to ensure we are doing the best we can in all our business practices. The role will lead the communication and change program through the planning and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for the project as well as help our people prepare for and successfully adapt to organisational change. The role must have experience in targeted stakeholder engagement and consultation, issues management as well as a flair of creative content development to ensure we keep the project live and engaging for our people.
**Functions the role will perform include**:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective communication and engagement strategies that deliver strong project outcomes.
- Develop communication and change plans for all key communication and engagement activities
- Lead the planning and delivery of a range of stakeholder and community engagement activities, including information and consultation sessions, surveys and facilitated workshops and focus groups.
- Identify and manage stakeholder engagement through a stakeholder impact analysis process.
- Proactively promote projects at key milestones and identify appropriate content options.
- Prepare high quality and timely communication materials to support the delivery of projects.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the development of post-engagement analysis reports
**ABOUT YOU**:
In addition to your demonstrated capabilities in delivering strategic goals and objectives, you will be:
- A highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple stakeholder groups?
- Experienced and confident communications and engagement practitioner with a broad range of skills including strategy and content development, media, event and issues management?
- A strong writer with an ability to distil technical and complex information for a broad range of channels and audiences.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in a relevant discipline.
This position is currently available for an initial period of up to 3 years.
