This role will be instrumental in driving revenue for the Group. You’ll be inspired by the iconic nature of the venues our Group operate. Our venues are some of the most iconic and treasured venues in the country, (if not the world) including - the Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanic Garden - Botanic House, Terrace on the Domain, The Sydney Tower, Queen Victoria Building - Reign and Esquire, Centennial Homestead, The Lookout Echo Point Blue Mountains, The Australian War Memorial Canberra and many more. This is truly an exciting step for an established Sales Professional - or a “rising star” looking to take the next step
**The key requirements of this role include;**
- Actively maintain ongoing relationships with clients and stakeholder - and nurturing / sourcing new corporate clients
- Business Development focus with a proactive sales approach on potential growth in new markets
- Facilitating and implementing effective Sales and Marketing strategies and campaigns to drive revenue and strengthen industry positioning
- Budget and reporting development and process, continually monitoring and mentoring the team’s performances against targets
- Brainstorming sales improvements, product mix development, and capitalising on gaps in the market
**Key attributes you will bring to our team and business include;**
- 3-5 years senior sales experience, preferably in venue sales and key partnerships
- Must have experience with Inbound Event Sales
- Prior experience of managing and mentoring a team of event professionals will be highly regarded
- Stakeholder and key account management capability
- Motivate and manage a team, getting the best out of individual sales team members
- Networking and relationship development
- An engaging personality and eagerness to care and develop team members
- Strategic growth planning capability
- Proven success in budgetary targets
- Financial acumen and analysis
