Job Overview
Key Job Responsibilities
Ensure apprentices are appropriately supervised and coached, maintaining a high focus on workplace safety.
Manage and coordinate the apprenticeship program(s) to ensure apprentices’ academic performance and competency development meets National Competency Standards and any/all Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and State Training Services (STS) requirements as required by apprentice contracts.
Ensure Apprenticeship materials and documentation meet government audit compliance requirements including the requirements of an Apprentice’s training plan are met.
Act as the relationship manager between Komatsu and the training organisation (RTO).
Drive and support the continuous improvement of the apprenticeship program
Qualifications/Requirements
Highly developed stakeholder management skills - including experience working across all levels of an organisation
Proven track record in managing large and complex programs and projects with experience in working within educational and operational environments.
Experience in the design, coordination and delivery of Apprenticeship programs
Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (trade qualification not essential)
Knowledge of quality of relevant training, legislative and regulatory frameworks, policies and procedures
Experience in the design and delivery of entry level talent programs that may include work experience, pre-apprenticeships and traineeships
Business reporting and analysis experience
Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
