If you have a passion for hands-on problem-solving, finding issues and fixing them, then a Mechanical Apprenticeship to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Machinist could be a great fit for you.

Manufacturing and assembling parts to make high-quality is an essential part of Ampcontrol's capabilities. You will learn to use a variety of conventional and computer controlled machine tools to produce components for high-quality electrical systems. You will also learn to fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts. These electrical systems will go on to be used to power and control solar and wind farms, mine sites, tunnelling and infrastructure projects and a whole lot more

We are seeking a highly driven and innovative person looking to be part of an organisation where they can grow their career. In addition, you must have:

- A keen interested in mechanical fitting and machining (ideally demonstrable through prior learning or projects)
- Unlimited Australian working rights.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
- A willingness to work in compliance with our safe working procedures.
- The ability to demonstrate a positive and willing attitude to learning; both on the job and through a diligent approach to your formal education.
