**About the Role**:
We have an exciting newly created role available for a Merchandise Planner to join the growing Nude Lucy business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for maximising business profitability through effective management of merchandise throughout its lifecycle.

**The role & responsibilities**:

- Planning and development of Merchandise strategies
- Budget and Forecast process
- End to end OTB Management
- Allocation and Replenishment
- Leadership and development of Planning Analyst and Allocator
- Promotional, markdown and aged inventory management
- Maximising return on inventory (GMROI)
- Budget development of all KPI’s in line with agreed financial targets
- Lead and manage the forecast review process in collaboration with the buying team to identify opportunities and risks and put plans in place to deliver budget outcomes
- Monthly tracking of KPI’s (vs budget, forecast & prior year) including suggested corrective actions
- Complete post season analysis to highlight opportunities
- Product and supplier analysis to identify sales growth opportunities/risks in the business
- Develop framework to ensure the buy reflects strategic intent and delivery of budget expectations
- Build collaborative relationships with the Buying team
- Manage the allocation and replenishment of product to maximise sales and deliver profitable outcomes

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated 5 + years merchandise planning experience within the retail industry
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage an OTB
- Proven ability to manage allocation and replenishment process
- Proven ability to drive inventory productivity improvements
- Ability to take a proactive approach and think strategically
- Advanced excel skills
- Team player and effective communicator
