**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
Our participant is a male in his 50's who has a spinal cord injury due to a fall.

He has limited mobility with his limbs and hands, and requires assistance with bowel therapy, hoisting, meal preperation, eating, personal care and daily living assistance.

This role is on-going, with paid training shifts to commence ASAP.
- Bowel Therapy
- Hoisting
- Personal Care

**The Current Roster**:
**Monday - Sunday**

**Shift 1**:8am - 11am (2:1 assist)

**Shift 2**: 12pm to 4pm (1 assist)

**Shift 3**: 6pm - 10pm (2:1 assist)

**Pay rates are**:

- Day Shift - $38.75 p/h
- Afternoon Shift - $42.63 p/h
- Saturday Shift - $54.25 p/h
- Sunday Shift - $69.75 p/h

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with bowel therapy
- Hoisting / transfers
- Daily skin checks
- Pressure wound management
- Personal care; washing, drying, dressing, grooming
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, meal preparation & feeding
- Assistance with daily health & rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments

**Skills & Experiences: *Training Provided**
- Experience with spinal cord injuries or other high complex care participants
- Experience with catheter management
- Bowel therapy
- Hoist / transfers
- Pressure injuries
- Australian Driver License
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children's Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A proactive and positive attitude is very important to the participant
