We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Maintenance Officer to join our residential care team.

This person needs to be energetic, hardworking, and passionate about maintaining and delivering a pristine environment for residents to live in. This role assists in property maintenance, planned and reactive maintenance, essential services maintenance and minor works that support the organization’s core business pursuits and quality service outcomes.

**What you bring**:

- Demonstrated skills in building repairs and/or general building maintenance with knowledge/understanding of all building services systems.
- Relevant trade qualification (preferred).
- Demonstrated skills in carpentry, painting, HVAC, fire, hydraulics, and electrical knowledge.
- Knowledge and skills working with plant and equipment.
- Commitment to customer service and aged/ disability care services.
- Understanding of OHS requirements and responsibilities and demonstrated knowledge of manual handling/ plant requirements.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work with staff and contractors.
