**What the opportunity offers**
This role will see you reporting to our Managing Director (whilst our Head of People & Culture is on maternity leave for the next few months) and is a hands-on, people focussed, operational based role requiring strong collaboration, operational excellence and focus on delivering. You will manage the operational responsibilities of the People & Culture function as it applies to our employees across Australia, New Zealand and offshore.

Working closely with key members of the broader business including our Happiness Conductor and Head of Operations, you will interact with Executive leaders of the business, including leaders from our parent company in the UK (Citation) and confidently represent the P&C function to internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Initially managing the People & Culture team of 3 (whilst Head of P&C is on maternity leave)
- Managing the end to end operational functions within the People & Culture function to ensure initiatives are delivered and documented effectively
- Working closely with the Head of P&C and P&C Coordinator to deliver a seamless employee experience from start to finish
- Continually looking for ways to streamline and automate processes
- Preparation of reports, including but not limited to, data required for our UK parent company and Executive team
- Developing and updating company policies and driving engagement

In conjunction with the P&C Coordinator:

- Assisting with delivery and improvement of our onboarding process
- Managing and documenting succession planning including supporting mentors and managers in the process
- Assisting with the implementation and reporting that comes from performance reviews
- Liaison with Finance for all HR related payroll queries
- Monitoring and maintaining WHS policies and procedures
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance around work rights of all employees.
- Assisting with people related processes around any potential future company acquisitions
- Reporting on all people metrics to the Citation CPO on a regular basis, as well as working closely on various initiatives/projects from time to time
- Supporting a framework for professional development

We are looking for a People & Culture professional with relevant Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience as a Generalist who has proven experience with all aspects of Operations in the employee lifecycle. Your industry background should be varied but understanding we are a professional services organisation transforming into an agile workplace compliance solutions provider.

As a People & Culture professional, your strong organisational, verbal and conciliation skills and adherence to confidentiality will be a given. You will be required to think creatively about various projects and have a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset.
