**Who we’re looking for**:
Don’t mind a bit of hard work and manual labour? Happy to be outside in rain, hail, or shine? We need strong, driven, adaptable and reliable people to join the Virgin Australia Pit Crew team. It’s a challenging role, with a lot of responsibilities - from helping ensure our planes are turned around on time, to making sure everyone’s baggage gets where it needs to be, on time (and in one piece).

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Moving and loading freight
- Pushing stairs and helping to open aircraft doors
- Driving those little baggage tugs
- Carefully loading bags (sometimes up to 1000 a day)
- Correctly handling cargo, oversized items and pets
- Recognising and handling dangerous goods
- Safely operating and maintaining our Ground Services Equipment
- Work in different teams, make new mates, and have a great time doing it
- Loads more

**We’re looking for someone who**
- Has brains AND brawn
- Is legally able to live and work in Australia
- Holds an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- Can work under pressure in an ever changing environment
- Is competent in both written and spoken English
- Has basic computer skills
- Can work a 24/7 rotating shift roster (including early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
- Can successfully obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).

**Important info**:
Our Pit Crew positions are part time with a minimum of 20 hours guaranteed per week. In saying that, you’ll get the opportunity to do extra hours and overtime.
