We are Empowering Options, NDIS provider in Melbourne, providing a range of community care and support services to people living with disability.
We are looking for a reliable committed full time Rostering Officer who wants to make a difference by supporting our clients to live the way they choose.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Rostering Officer is responsible for the delivery of exceptional rostering support, ensuring that clients receive their scheduled care and supports by appropriately trained staff.
Working closely with Practice Manager and Chief of Operations, you will be responsible for liaising with frontline staff and clients to meet the needs of the business. **This is a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be flexible and adaptable, and enjoy interacting with people.**
To be successful in the role you will have:
- **Experience using roster software systems** such as shift care, deputy etc
- The ability to **balance**, or seek advice to balance, **conflicting demands within tight timeframes**:
- The ability to **maintain composure and positivity** in times of rapid change
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening skills
- Possess a **client-centred approach** and have a passion for delivering an exceptional experience
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including **confidence dealing with people over the phone and in person**:
- **Strong attention to detail**, with the ability to escalate problems and receive feedback to develop appropriate solutions
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively and sensitively with a range of clients, including those with challenging behaviours, or clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
**Requirements and Selection Criteria**
- Experience working in a team within the Disability, Aged care, medical/healthcare or related profession
- Experience working in a rostering team within a community support services environment (desirable)
- Strong administration skills with a keen attention to detail
- NDIS Worker Clearance Screening
- First Aid and CPR
- National Police Check
- Driver License (required)
- Comply with the Victorian Government COVID-19 Vaccination Direction
