Choice Consultancy is seeking a mature, compassionate, and enthusiastic **Support Worker** to join our team. This role involves supporting an adventurous 12-year-old client with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs. We’re looking for someone relatable, bubbly, and outgoing, yet capable of establishing authority and maintaining routines.

This is an after-school position, Monday through Friday, requiring someone who enjoys fostering a safe, engaging, and structured environment while promoting the client’s interests and independence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Engage and interact** with the client through activities such as board games, reading, and jewellery making.
- Follow a **structured routine** and assist with after-school tasks.
- Provide assistance with **cooking meals** and maintaining a healthy diet.
- Help with **personal care**, including showering, in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Foster the client’s **interest in activities** through conversation and creative interaction.
- Ensure a **safe and positive environment**, encouraging personal development and self-expression.

**Schedule (to be confirmed)**:

- **Monday**: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- **Tuesday to Friday**: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Valid **NDIS Worker Screening Check**.
- Current **Police Check** and **Working With Children Check**.
- **First Aid certification**.
- Previous experience working with children with **ASD and behavioural needs**.
- A **reliable vehicle** and valid driver’s licence.
- A caring and adaptable personality with strong communication skills.
