**Role Description/Criteria**

St Thomas the Apostle Greensborough North is seeking a passionate, highly motivated Education Support Officer to join our learning community, commencing as soon as possible by negotiation.

Applicants must have:

- Certificate III or IV Education Support
- Current Working with Children Check
- A commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic ethos

The successful applicants should have:

- Experience assisting teachers in implementing personalised learning plans, supporting student learning, and adapting resources to meet diverse needs.
- An ability to support students in developing self-regulation, positive social interactions, and engagement in learning.
- An ability to provide respectful and sensitive assistance with personal care needs, which may include toileting, feeding, and mobility support, ensuring the dignity and comfort of students.
- A willingness to work in collaboration with others within a supportive, professional environment.
- A committed to ongoing personal and professional learning.
- A committed to building strong relationships with all members of the community.
