**Opportunity**
Our client is a federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Officer to join the team.
- 12 month initial contract with likely extensions
- Geelong based role, with 2 days per week work-from-home
- Hourly rate of $55.24 + Superannuation is on offer

**The role**
- Contributing to the development and production of Media, Marketing and Digital Communications materials, in consultation with stakeholders
- Ensuring employees have access to information delivered across a variety of channels
- Ensuring all materials are accessible and align with the NDIS style and brand guidelines
- Producing content for use across a variety of internal and external channels including newsletters, the intranet, website and talking points for staff and partners as well as formal briefs
- Managing correspondence through team inboxes, including actioning requests or triaging requests to relevant team members for action
- Help manage the day-to day operations of the social media platforms, including content sourcing, calendar creation, scheduling, posting and monitoring
- Assist in the delivery of a targeted digital advertising strategy
- Management and growth of NDIS e-newsletter
- Lead social media intelligence gathering and identify opportunities for information sharing
- Utilise Adobe Cloud based programs to create digital assets

**About you**
Skilled at maintaining an online presence with a focus on social media and digital marketing, understanding different channels, trends and how to create content or amplification strategies to suit those.
Your key skills include knowledge of:

- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Meta Business suite and Ad Manager
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Google Analytics
- Social media scheduling tools
- Strong copy-writing skills
