BanhMi House Bakery in Brisbane QLD is currently looking to appoint qualified Bakers on a full-time basis.

The successful applicants will have a genuine love of the industry and of baking. They will also enjoy inspiring others to achieve. This role is very much hands-on, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude.

This is a full-time role offering a 38 hour working week with two days off per week.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Mixing, preparing, and baking bread and pastries
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Baking different bread types
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards
- Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures
- Maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment
- Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance

It is essential that applicants possess a Certificate 3 in Bread Baking (or equivalent) and must have a least 2 -3 years experience post qualification.

The salary range will be between $55,000 - $75,000 per year plus super depending on experience.
