**Description**:
Pastuso is a gem of Melbourne's restaurant scene, and undoubtedly one of Australia's finest Peruvian restaurants. Sitting at the foot of the AC/DC Lane, our prime location means that the CBD is on your doorstep when it’s time to treat yourself in town
We're looking for a Food & Beverage Salesperson who is available for approx 20-25 hours per week.
As a Food & Beverage Salesperson in our fast-paced environment, your day-to-day will involve welcoming and engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering an outstanding dining experience. You’ll confidently recommend dishes, upsell where appropriate, and ensure every table receives attentive and professional service. Whether you're serving on the floor, assisting behind the bar, or handling guest inquiries, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere. With opportunities to cross-train across different areas, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on guest interaction, and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic team.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Think you’ve got what it takes?
- Availability for Thursday - Sunday as required
- Proven experience in a premium, fast-paced restaurant, with a strong understanding of food & beverage service and customer interaction.
- Ability to confidently serve drinks, operate a POS system, and handle transactions accurately.
- Strong upselling skills and a passion for creating great customer experiences.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
