We are hiring a Lead QA Engineer for our client who is a leading player in the automotive industry, providing a comprehensive platform that connects car buyers and sellers.

With a strong presence in the digital landscape, they offer a user-friendly interface and a wide range of vehicles to meet the diverse needs and preferences of their customers.

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the web and digital products. If you have a strong background in QA testing, automation, and a deep understanding of Agile development practices, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective QA strategies and processes.
- Lead the QA team and provide guidance and mentoring to other quality assurance engineers.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, including performance, load, and security testing.
- Utilize automation frameworks, such as Cypress, to create and maintain automated test cases integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct testing of REST/GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman.
- Develop and maintain test deliverables, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases through the use of traceability matrices.
- Work with testing tools like Browser Stack to evaluate quality in diverse client environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Use your expertise in databases, such as MySQL, to ensure data integrity and accuracy in testing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or better in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of hands-on QA experience in a Web/Digital environment.
- 5+ years of experience in testing, automation, performance and load, and security testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile development process and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring other quality assurance engineers.
- Proficiency in testing REST/GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman.
- Experience writing automated test cases with frameworks such as Cypress and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with the product development life cycle and various test cycles (e.g., Unit, Integration, Smoke).
- Ability to develop comprehensive test deliverables, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Experience working with testing tools like Browser Stack in a diverse client environment.
- Strong knowledge of databases, including MySQL, for data validation in testing.

**Salary Range**: $150-160K+Super

**Location**: North Sydney - (Hybrid)
