**About KOTH**:
King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. After a significant expansion, KOTH now features a 4.7 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant, providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora, within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

Vault Minerals is looking for a **Resource Geologist**to join the team at**King of the Hills Gold Mine. The purpose of the Resource Geologist is to extend the King of the Hills Mineral Resource base through planning and supervision of drilling activities and to maintain the geology, structural and mineralisation models.

This role is offered on a 8/6 roster - FIFO from Perth.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure adherence to safe work systems/procedures, minimizing risk to employees and contractors.
- Conduct orebody interpretation, modelling, and extension via drill programs.
- Extension of Mineral Resource through the design and implementation of extensional drill programmes
- Collaborate with production geology and exploration teams for orebody and regional mineralisation understanding.
- Maintain and interpret orebody, lithology, and structural models, and generate wireframe models.
- Provide monthly reports on extensional drilling and monitor/log drill programs for orebody delineation.
- Communicate geological and geotechnical data with mining teams and management.
- Update plans and sections with new drilling data and monitor QAQC for drilling programs.
- Assist with general on-site/underground operations and Resource Model updates as needed.

**Key factors to your success include**:

- Tertiary qualification in Geology (BSc. Geology or Applied Geology)
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in an exploration or production environment (preferably narrow vein)
- Previous experience with gold deposit
- Experience in resource estimation is advantageous
- Demonstrate an understanding of Exploration and Resource Definition programme design and execution, and 3D modelling techniques
- Advanced proficiency with Vulcan, Leapfrog (or similar) software
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor accreditation desirable
- WA Driver’s Licence - C Class
