Workforce Planner

**The Opportunity**

Are you a confident and driven Workforce Planner? We need your experience to assist with the delivery of workforce management strategies in a customer centric organisation.

Ventia’s Operations Centre are seeking a Workforce Planner to provide strategic advice on organisational planning and execution to ensure a sustainable workforce is in place to meet the current and emerging needs of the department. This role will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for optimisation, minimising costs, and enhancing operational efficiencies.

The primary focus for our Operations Centre is to provide exceptional customer service to our customers who are active participants of several front-line public services and sectors. These are schools, defence and social infrastructure networks, social housing, and corporate real-estate.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Create and adjust forecasts, with the aid of historical trends for best accuracy possible.
- Regularly review forecast vs actuals to be aware of any fluctuations.
- Generate and maintain rosters to ensure enough staff are available to handle forecasted volumes while considering shrinkage.
- Actively manage time slots for leave, meeting, training & coaching requests.
- Regularly review performance against both internal and external KPIs to ensure adherence and identify any areas for improvement.
- Ensure shifts adhere to their relevant employment award while minimising cost to the business.
- Communicate confidently about the call centre’s performance and staffing requirements.
- Assist in providing forecasted staffing numbers to help build budgets and any bid work for new business.
- Liaise with staff on shift rosters and leaves.

- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Strong numerical, analytical & planning skills
- Experience with Genesys Cloud & Power Bi
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills that can be used at all levels of an organisation
- Proficient user of Excel
- Effective stakeholder and collaboration skills
