As the Safety and Wellbeing Partner you will work closely with the Head of Safety and Wellbeing to implement the VBA's Safety and Wellbeing Strategy in partnership with divisions and business units across the organisation. The role is also responsible for development and implementation of a robust HSW management system including incident management, investigation and corrective actions.

You will partner with senior leaders and the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee to identify current and emerging risks, design controls and processes, provide expert advice, monitor performance against statutory obligations and organisational objectives and develop pro-active opportunities for improvements to reduce safety risks across the VBA.

This is a senior role for an experienced safety and wellbeing professional that will support and mentor the Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to contribute to the success of the VBA's Safety and Wellbeing team to build and sustain a positive safety culture across a diverse workforce.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated experience of working in complex work environment with multiple stakeholders with varying experiences and expectations.
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications in occupational safety and/or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, professional accreditation and qualifications.
- Current, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator and/or Advanced First Aid qualifications are highly desirable.
