Our proud history - Marsden State High School has been operating since 1987 and has a long and proud tradition of providing excellent quality public education. Since opening in 1987, the school has grown to over 3500 students. **About the Role**:
As the A04 Project Officer (Sponsorship) you will have responsibility for the following
- Prospect and propose sponsorship opportunities to current and potential clients and stakeholders by arranging visits and meetings where required.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, and provide a high level of client support to sponsors, partners and community members to ensure the promotion and reputation of the school/college is key priority.
- Liaise with the Business Manager and oversee the purchasing, maintenance and repair of sponsorship signage and equipment.
- Undertake financial activities including monitoring and reviewing sponsorship expenditure, implement processes to increase revenue, generate invoices and monitor all aspects of the sponsorship budget.
- Work directly with industry, business and community groups to form productive partnerships and develop networks to enhance the current position of the school/college.
- Liaise with the Business Manager and oversee the purchasing, design of school apparel/ uniforms.
- Organise and co-ordinate events that directly and in-directly involve sponsors, including the attendance of sponsors at school events, hosting sponsors/partners and key figures at school events, which include outside of school hours.
- Liaise with the Business Manager and key stakeholders to provide information regarding sponsorship entitlements in regards to school uniforms and school events.
- Create communication channels and assist school staff such as Head of Departments to directly and in-directly work with sponsors/partners and community members.
- Endeavour to consistently and clearly communicate with current sponsors/partners regarding school news, upcoming school events, and key dates/times.
- Draft, plan, write and edit sponsorship contracts as per The Department of Education Sponsorship Guidelines.
- Engaging with the community through networking and introduction opportunities, events and communication channels.
- Ensuring contract entitlements are delivered to sponsors/partners in appropriate time frames or as stated in sponsorship/partnership contract.
- Liaise with Business Manager and other key stakeholders when necessary to communicate with suppliers.
- Effectively organise physical and digital sponsorship/partnership documents, contracts, spreadsheets and key notes.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
